In fact, every oral pill indicated for diabetes has a boxed warning except for the DPP4 inhibitors. For any medication, there is always a balance between benefit and risk. One also has to consider the risk of not taking the drug. For type 2 diabetes, the risk of not taking the drug means that diabetes will get worse and can lead to problems with nerves, kidneys,etc.Dr. Matthew Mintzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01058182168282244996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9143719926358099859.post-39109171214714270472011-09-04T12:59:00.005-07:002011-09-04T12:59:00.005-07:00Great research. The did the same when they reported on leaked documents from Zyprexa case and were slapped by the judge for doing so. The Times has been anti-pharma and anti-big business for some time and that is one reason I cancelled my subscription. However there are too many people who are not going to take a deep dive to get the truth and thus unfortunetly they will take what the Times says at face valiue.Rich Meyerhttp://www.worldofdtcmarketing.comnoreply@blogger.com
